Tell us about your childhood and where you grew up

I grew up in Morgan Hill, California a small suburban town made up of mostly white people. Growing up as a Chinese American in a small white town was hard I would get picked on a lot for being different and had issues communicating since English was my second language. I grew up speaking Mandarin with my parents which made it more difficult to communicate with classmates and teachers. My parents also owned an American Fast Food Restaurant called Sno White Drive In which I had to work and help my parents out at a young age. That is where I learned a lot of life lessons that I have brought into my adulthood. I learned how to work hard, communicate with others, and to learn how to run a business. I bring that passion into my own coaching and consulting business.

How did you get started as an entrepreneur?

I always had a passion to help others but what really got me to do a consulting and coaching business is my infertility journey. I struggled with infertility for two years and had depression and anxiety from it and through my infertility journey I found out that I had Endometriosis which was causing me infertility and lots of pain in my uterus. Through my health journey, I wanted to help others to obtain their health goals so they can live the happy and healthy life that they have always wanted! Now I get to help others all around the world in the comfort of my own home!

What is one business lesson you would tell a startup founder?

It takes a lot of hard work and will come with a lot of failures but keep going and remember your mission of why you want to start your business and that will keep you going until you succeed!
