Safety forces have gunned down 4 terrorists in an encounter close to Ban toll plaza in Jammu’s Nagrota district on the Jammu and Kashmir freeway, early Thursday morning.

The terrorists have been reportedly trapped and there was gun firing from each side. It’s also being mentioned that the terrorists have been on their method to Kashmir from Jammu in a bus. 

In accordance with officers, the Jammu-Srinagar nationwide freeway was closed in view of the encounter. Safety has additionally been tightened within the Nagrota space.

In the meantime, as many as 12 civilians have been injured after terrorists lobbed a grenade at safety forces within the Kakapora space of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday. Police sources mentioned that terrorists tried to focus on safety forces’ deployment, nonetheless, the grenade missed the goal and exploded on highway inflicting injures.
