Tell us about your childhood and where you grew up?
I had a pretty global upbringing. I was born in Australia, afterward moved to Syria, lived in Norway, and then moved to Kyrgyzstan. What is one business lesson you would tell a startup founder?
Stay intellectually honest. Entrepreneurs, by necessity, need to be headstrong, but they also need to be capable of listening to and accepting feedback. So listen to others and, if they are correct, be capable of changing course.
