Mumbai Police summons Kangana Ranaut, Rangoli Chandel for third time in sedition case

Actor Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel have been summoned by the police, asking them to seem earlier than Bandra Police on November 23-24 over “objectionable feedback on social media to unfold communal stress between 2 teams.”

Kangana has been summoned on November 23 and Rangoli on November 24.

These are the third summons to the sisters after they failed to seem earlier than the police officers on November 10, and November 11 and earlier than that between October 26-27 for probe in a primary data report lodged towards them which incorporates sedition costs. The case has been registered underneath Part 124 A (sedition), 153-A (selling enmity between totally different teams on grounds of faith, race, place of origin, residence, language, prejudicial to upkeep of concord) and 295-A (deliberate and malicious acts, supposed to outrage spiritual emotions by insulting its faith) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
